We also give you advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines and we are able to obtain medicines and appliances quickly and efficiently to fulfil all your prescription needs. Free medicine check up

You can have a chat with our Pharmacist about any medicine or health question that you may have at a time that is convenient for you. Our Pharmacist will review your medicines and advise you accordingly

New medicines service

The pharmacist may sign you up for a follow up consultation, if your doctor has newly prescribed you new medication for the management of your Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, High blood pressure or anticoagulant therapy.  This could take place within the pharmacy or at home via the telephone

Medicine sales

We store a range of Pharmacy and over-the-counter medicines, as well as other products to suit your needs. So come and have a browse at our variety of essentials

It is important that you and your family stay safe. Remember to keep all medicines out of reach of children and don’t share your medicines with other people. If you have any unwanted medicines at home, please bring them to the Pharmacy for safe disposal

Medicine containers

All of our medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you request us not to. Our Pharmacy team can advice you on safe storage of medicines

Brook Hill Pharmacy has a consultation room available so you can speak to our Pharmacist in total confidence, away from any interruptions. Please ask in store if you require a chaperone.

Free delivery service

Brook hill provides a free delivery service for patients who are unable to visit the pharmacy to collect their dispensed medication.  Please ask for more information at the counter.

Smoking cessation

We are now able to support you to stop smoking. Our trained smoking cessation practioners are available on Tuesday to Friday each week for support. No appointments are needed. just walk in and ask to speak to any one of them.

Disposal of unwanted medicines

Brookhill pharmacy can assist you in the disposal of any of your unwanted medicines. Speak to any member of staff

Nursing Homes

We provide medication in blisters and other supplies such as homely remedies to care homes. Our pharmacist is also available to provided support to the care home staff in managing patients under their care and giving them advice about their medicines.

Seasonal influenza vaccination service

During the flu season we provide the influenza vaccine to patients not entitled to one on the NHS, at a reasonable cost. No appointments are required just walk in and have a chat with the pharmacist

Supply of medicines through a patient group direction (PGD) service

The pharmacists are available to provide prescription medicines via a patient group direction (PGD). These include medication used for malaria prophylaxis, asthma, erectile dysfunction, oral contraceptive, psoriasis, weight management and influenza vaccine.

Medicines assessment and compliance support service

We provide medicine assessments and compliance aids for patient who have difficulty in managing their medicines. These are packed in weekly blister packs that can either be collected frrom the pharmacy or delivered directly to the patient's home address.
